| Beyond Our Borders is a Christian Ministry founded in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, at Christ United Methodist Church. Our purpose is to transform the lives of children, and their families, in the slums of developing countries by responding to their basic and developmental needs, thus providing them with hope for the future. |

| Our aspiration is that the establishment of community sanctuaries in slums throughout the world will protect children and nourish them in mind, body and spirit. In so doing, these children will be given a chance to become contributing members of their own societies and pass the Love of Christ on to others. |
