Beyond our Borders is an organization whose objective is to serve the needs of poor children in developing countries through personal engagement and the development of long term partnerships with in-country institutions. The group was founded in 2001 by Myron Miller and a small group of dedicated members of Christ United Methodist Church in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
“Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hand but yours, no feet but yours. Yours are the eyes through which Christ’s compassion is to look out to the world. Yours are the feet with which Christ is to go about doing good. Yours are the hands with which Christ is to bless all people now.”
To transform the lives of children and their families in the slums of developing countries by responding to their basic and developmental needs, thus providing them with hope for the future.
